At SLI we have many different sports that student athletes may participate in.
As part of the SSIAA (South Shore Interscholastic Athletic Association) our students get the opportunity to play in tournaments with other schools

Bantam= October 1st, 2007- September 30th, 2009
Junior= October 1st, 2005- September 30th, 2007
Senior= July 1st, 2003- September 30th, 2005

Lunch Hour Intramurals
The past two years we have done just open gyms due to COVID and class bubbles, not being able to mix grade levels, etc.
However in regular years, students do have the opportunity to partake in the following:
Cosom hockey
3v3 basketball
Flag football
Soccer
Badminton,
4v4 volleyball
and many other intramurals.
We also offer the weight room certain lunch hours for secondary 3's and up.
Certain long lunch Wednesdays, we have also given students the opportunity to borrow outdoor equipment (cross country skis and snowshoes) to get some fresh air and discover a new sport!
